In this second webinar focusing on Editor-in-Chiefs and Editorial Boards, the expert panel will draw on their own experience of working with underperforming editorials board and what steps can be taken to improve or avoid this situation. They will consider systems to regularly monitor and manage expectations on both sides, how to create a constructive dialogue to identify and resolve issues, and how to manage the transition when a change of EIC or editorial board member is necessary.

ALPSP Training Course: Developing Open Access and Hybrid Journals - 09 Mar 2017

STM webinar on new COUNTER proposals for Code of Practice COP5 - 13 Mar 2017
The STM members-only webinar will provide an update on the new compliance requirements that have been published in draft by COUNTER. COUNTER has started the consultation rounds on its latest proposed Code of Practice, Release 5 (COP5) and welcomes feedback from all stakeholders between now and 12 April 2017. From a publishers standpoint, the currently proposed COP5 risks to significantly increase both complexity and compliance costs of customer usage reporting for STM members. As a result this may negatively impact overall industry COUNTER compliance. The COP Release 5 documentation and consultation materials are available on the COUNTER website.
