ALPSP Seminar: Exploiting Licensing Opportunities Through Book Fairs - Translation, Digital and Other Subsidiary Rights - 19 Apr 2010 This free one hour seminar at the London Book Fair will cover many aspects of licensing opportunities including researching licences at LBF in advance of the Frankfurt Book Fair, setting up appointments with the appropriate contacts, rights guides versus sales catalogues, translation terms basics, serial licensing as a marketing tool, Non Disclosure Agreements and more. It will also demonstrate the importance of digital distribution and licensing agreements (which most translation publishers are seeking these days as a matter of course).
